Dr. Srinivas Iyengar

MD, FACC - Medical Advisory Board Member

Dr. Srinivas Iyengar is a internationally recognized interventional cardiologist with advanced expertise in structural heart interventions, large bore vascular closure, and complex endovascular therapies. He currently serves as Structural Heart Director at Boulder Community Health, where he leads a high-volume transcatheter valve and structural heart program.

Dr. Iyengar completed his cardiovascular training at The Ohio State University, including a grant-funded research year in advanced heart failure and transplantation, followed by interventional and structural fellowships at Columbia University. He has developed and directed multiple structural heart programs and has extensive experience with transfemoral access and closure in TAVR and other large bore procedures.

He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Circulation, Journal of Invasive Cardiology, and Journal of Heart and Lung Transplantation. In addition, he has contributed book chapters and online presentations, and is a frequent speaker and live case operator at national conferences. Board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and interventional cardiology, Dr. Iyengar brings both academic insight and clinical leadership to the advancement of minimally invasive cardiovascular therapies.

Prof. Nicolas M. Van Mieghem

MD, PhD, FESC, FACC - Medical Advisory Board Member

Prof. Nicolas Van Mieghem is an internationally recognized interventional cardiologist and serves as Medical Director of the Department of Interventional Cardiology at the Thorax Centre, Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam—one of Europe’s leading centers for cardiovascular innovation and structural heart care.

His clinical and research work focuses on 1) improving outcomes in TAVR, including the use of cerebral embolic protection, next-generation closure devices, expanding indications for TAVR, 2) adoption and refinement of transcatheter mitral and tricuspid interventions, 3) implementation of advanced imaging and procedure simulations and 4) evaluation of effects of structural heart interventions on cardiac mechanics. He is the principal investigator of the landmark TAVR UNLOAD trial and is actively involved in the development of mechanical circulatory support (MCS) systems, as well as complex coronary interventions.

Prof. Van Mieghem has authored more than 600 peer-reviewed publications and serves as a principal investigator and steering committee member for multiple international trials evaluating transcatheter valve technologies, MCS platforms, coronary atherectomy devices, and large bore closure devices. He is a Fellow of both the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) and the American College of Cardiology (FACC).

Dr. Philippe Généreux

MD - Medical Advisory Board Member

Dr. Généreux is an interventional cardiologist and internationally recognized leader in structural heart disease. He has been a practicing interventional cardiologist for more than 15 years. Dr. Généreux is the Director of the Structural Heart Program at Morristown Medical Center. 

Dr. Généreux has served as the primary or co-investigator on more than 20 clinical trials and has published more than 350 articles in peer-reviewed journals. He is currently the Principal Investigators of the EARLY TAVR trial and the PROGRESS trial, 2 major studies in the field of aortic valve disease. A celebrated clinical researcher since the beginning of his career, he was awarded the prestigious Thomas J. Linnemeier Spirit of Interventional Cardiology Young Investigator Award at the 2012 Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) scientific symposium, and has been named a Highly Cited Researcher by the Clarivate™ Web of Science™ Group for the last 4 years. 

Dr. Généreux is also involved in multiples early-stage companies in the field of interventional cardiology and heart failure. Dr. Généreux received his medical degree from the Université de Montréal, Montréal, Québec, Canada, his cardiology and interventional cardiology degree from Université de Sherbrooke and from Sacré-Coeur Hospital, Montreal, Canada, and performed his advanced interventional cardiology and structural heart fellowship at Columbia University, and Cardiovascular Research Foundation, in New York city.

Dr. Zvonimir Krajcer

Dr. Zvonimir Krajcer is a globally respected interventional cardiologist based in Houston, Texas, where he serves as Director of Peripheral Vascular Diseases at the Texas Heart Institute and holds a faculty appointment as Clinical Professor of Medicine/Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine. With over four decades of experience, he is recognized as a pioneer in the development and early adoption of percutaneous endovascular aneurysm repair (PEVAR) under local anesthesia and fully percutaneous access.

His clinical and research efforts have focused on advancing minimally invasive therapies for abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, and structural heart conditions, including EVAR, TEVAR, and TAVR. He has performed more than 5,000 interventional procedures and has played a leading role in numerous clinical trials evaluating endovascular and transcatheter treatment strategies.

Dr. Krajcer is a founding member and past president of the Texas Heart Institute Cardiac Society and a former president of the International Society for Endovascular Specialists.
